what a great interview!
disagree with ai stuff. Its not going to happen in our life time atleast not widely used in art.
I think the "Hero" film Efflam might have been referering to was the 2002 one with Jet Li, with fantastic cinematography and lighting. Not the one shown in this video.
This guy is amazing!
y'knowwhatImean
I really LIKE Efflam
A.I is going to take all your jobs huh..all that huge pool of human talent, with nowhere to put it to use, and no way for most to make a decent wage from it all.. they better introduce this basic universal income soon in order to maintain public order lol
"A movie made in the 1700's!?!?
can he please just stop smiling I can't concentrate gosh
Super interesting deep interview, awesome to see the French vision art approach.
Mercier could write a book with all the "likes" he's using alone.
another great interview!
I love the roast and compliment on drawabox
He is sooooo nerdy I LOOOOVE IT LOL =D
You can use Python programming language for machine learning it's easy to learn but it's so powerful.
This man has GOT knowledge!
Automation is just so chilling and scary for people who are not employed in a mental kind of job and have already seen 70 % of their former tasks being done by software now (and seen 80% of their colleagues get fired). Not being afraid is great for people whose job is "having creative ideas". But what about everyone else? I hope we'll come up with meaningful jobs for everyone.
Not even really related but this interview keeps reminding me of a book I read eons ago called The Tree of Knowledge: The biological roots of human understanding which now I have to reread again.
54:54 he wonders what he can do with art to help science. Oh boi please fix those movies I had to watch in school. Those 3d animated movies having video and audio quality that hurts. You know the biological and chemical processes.
At minute 39:30 Efflam mentioned a anatomy simplified resource by a German artist. It sounded like veims. Do anyone know how I can find it? How it's spelled? Thank you XD
I felt like Efflam Mercier is a generated computer program while he was smiling and moving on my screen. Creepy.
The Moon is about as black as asphalt, but it looks white because of the contrast with the black sky.
I keep listening to this interview because it's just so damn good.
this guy is pretty annoying.. you know what I mean? 🙂
Artistic anatomy by Scott Eaton is the course he recommends, just in case anybody missed it
Dude, this guy's color science is insane!
You're the best interviewer. The guest can actually talk.. a lot :).
seriously this dude is on a whole new level…. !!!!!!!!
I really like the noise news and render time @ 1:11:29
